This could be a banner year for Gabourey Sidibe, who’s nominated for her breakout role in “Precious”. She says it’s been a year of breakthroughs for her. Although, I have yet to see the movie, I’ll be there rooting for her, Monique, and Lee Daniels in their nominated categories. Monique has swept virtually every award show this year, so if she doesn’t take this one home, it will be a shock. Morgan Freeman is nominated as well for Actor in a Leading role in “Invictus”, so good luck to him!! I’ve gotta say I’m rooting for Sandra Bullock, she’s always been one of my favorite actresses, which puts me in somewhat of a dilemma because she’s up against Gabourey. It’s gonna be a great show!!!
