*Surprise, Surprise!

After denying it over and over, even though nobody believed her, Kim Kardashian is filing for divorce from Kris Humphries.

The implosion of the marriage comes just 72 days after they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony that was taped for her reality show.

“Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning,” Tweets Ryan Seacrest, who produces her reality show. “I touched base with her.”

Reports say Kardashian, 30, has hired celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser and will cite the usual “irreconcilable differences.” The date of separation will be listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.

The filing comes after weeks of speculation of trouble in their brief marriage.

Veteran R&B crooner Lionel Richie is singing a different tune on his upcoming album “Tuskegee,” a collection of songs named after his Alabama birthplace.

Due out in March 2012, “Tuskegee” features 13 duets of his biggest hits, including “My Love” with Kenny Chesney, “Easy” with Willie Nelson and “Hello” with Jennifer Nettles.

Richie said the album was a return to his country roots.

“I was born and raised in Tuskegee, Alabama. I am a country boy and proud of it. To do this project just felt natural,” the singer-songwriter said in a statement.

Fans can get a sample of the album when Richie, 62, performs some of the duets at the Country Music Association (CMA) awards next month, organizers said Wednesday. Among them, a country version of his hit song “Dancing on the Ceiling” with Rascal Flatts at the annual televised show on Nov. 9.

I got to witness first hand the Occupy Wall Street movement, and it inspired me to see so many people gathered in a city as big as New York and the spirit was as peaceful as Sunday morning church in NC! It also reminded me that real change begins with each individual, i.e. me and you. Each individual gathered in that park made a conscious decision to be a part of the “change” that is sweeping our world. Are you? Occupy your mind. Take up residence in your mind with new thoughts, new ideas and a new way of living. It’s time to change! It’s inevitable so you may as well jump on the bandwagon and take this ride with the rest of us. OCCUPY YOUR MIND!

As the past owner of the Apple IIe, several iPods, the iPad2, Mac, MacBook Pro and every iPhone that has been released, I offer my condolences to the family of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. I am inspired by his inventive spirit and inspiring words. When delivering the commencement address to Stanford University, he said “Death is the single best invention of life. It’s life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.” Rest in peace….
